Taproom Operations Manager

Hours: Full-time
Location: The Dayton Taproom - 329 E. First Street, Dayton Ohio, 45402
Reports to: Brewpub Operations Manager

Lock 27 Brewing is a GABF Award-Winning brewery founded and located in Dayton OH, offering exceptional beer and wonderful food in a fantastic environment. We are on a never-ending journey of exploration – discovering things that are new and different, creating innovative products to share with our community, and growing the reputation of Dayton across the state.

We currently have opportunities for energetic and enthusiastic candidates to join the Brewpub Team in our growing craft brewery. The Lock 27 Brewing Taproom is looking for a driven, knowledgeable, and creative individual to help lead our Downtown Dayton Taproom team into the next chapter of Lock 27 Brewing history. You will work hands on with our leadership team to shape a new taproom model to stay in line with the everchanging times our industry is facing.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Candidate must be passionate about craft beer & Lock 27 Brewing’s journey forward.
  • Candidate must have 5+ year in management experience in a Brewpub, with exposure to both FOH and BOH operations.
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills with both customers & employees.
  • Candidate must be an independent thinker that is highly self-motivated to grow their business with limited resources.
  • Must be able to hold staff to a higher standard than “industry standard.”
  • Must be able to set and maintain SOP’s.
