A mango and dragon fruit tiki sour brewed with whole fruit and Saigon cinnamon. From Fort Collins, Co & Dayton, Ohio – we wish you island vibes!

Lock 27 Brewing was honored and privileged to host the awesome folks from New Belgium Brewing for a collaboration brew day in SUNNY, Dayton, OH at the Lock 27 Brewing Dayton Taproom! The result of our two great breweries coming together was… FRUIT HOLE!

What is Fruit Hole?

Fruit Hole is a tiki-style sour, brewed with whole fruit and nothing but it! This Berliner Weisse is made with over 420 pounds of whole mango puree from Lock 27 Brewing’s favorite fruit supplier, and 86 pounds of whole Dragon Fruit puree shipped from New Belgium in Colorado. A pinch of Saigon cinnamon added, which is naturally sweet, round out the sweet and sour of this luau themed cocktail sour.

This “Pink Drink” like brew was inspired by other beverage industry trends, like the Starbucks Pink drink that we all know and love. Hence Fruit Hole’s can art! We added Purple Carrot Powder to deepen the hue of this beer to give’s Fruit Hole its dark hazy pink color.

Fruit Hole will be available on-tap and in 4 - 16oz. packs starting February 25th, 2023.

•Visit the Lock 27 Brewing Dayton Taproom on Saturday Feb. 25th for the Fruit Hole Luau starting at 2 PM with the Fruit Hole can release kicking it off at 1 PM. Fruit Hole will be available on tap and in a limited amount of 4 - 16 oz. packs

•Stop by the Lock 27 Centerville Restaurant on Sunday, February 26th starting at 11 AM. Fruit Hole will be available on tap and in a limited amount of 4 - 16 oz. packs

• Check your favorite local beer pick-up spot starting the week of Monday, February 27th for the majority of Fruit Hole packs! Available in 4 - 16 oz. packs. Check out our Beer Finder below for local retailers

Fruit Hole Can Release Luau

Celebrate the release of Fruit Hole, our Mango Dragon Fruit Tiki Sour, made in collaboration with New Belgium Brewing at our Luau Can Release on Saturday, February 25th from 2-5 PM at the Lock 27 Brewing Downtown Dayton Taproom.

Join us for an island inspired afternoon at the Lock 27 Dayton Taproom with:
• Fruit Hole can release starting at 1PM
• Luau inspired Plate-lunch style buffet starting at 2PM
• Live music
• Brewhouse tours
• Tap Takeover from New Belgium with 6 beers with some familiar favorites and new beers from their R&D Brewhouse

We can’t wait to have all of our friends from New Belgium back out to Dayton to celebrate the launch of this amazing project! Come out to meet both brew teams downtown at our luau launch party.

Doors open at 1 PM to kick off the can release of Fruit Hole with 4 - 16-oz. packs available for purchase and the Luau Party & Buffet will get started at 2 PM.
